Welcome to
Midtown Classical
Midtown Classical is an academy of home educated students based in Tallahassee, Florida, who participate in academic competitions and engage in service, mentoring and leadership.
The mission of Midtown Classical is to encourage scholastic achievement at the highest level while at the same time fostering character, discipline, teamwork, kindness and respect.
We participate in competitions across a wide spectrum of subjects, including history, geography, science, math, literature, arts, and foreign language.
Our competition schedule brings us together with students from the best public and private schools in the country, and we typically participate in more than thirty events each year. We provide competition and service opportunities for students from first through twelfth grades.
We believe that with hard work and an excitement for learning, all students can unlock their enormous potential and accomplish extraordinary things. Since Midtown Classical began in 2013, our students have regularly won championships at the local, state and national level in a wide variety of subjects. More importantly, our students have developed a passion for learning deeply, working as a team, and mentoring younger students to help them reach their greatest potential.
Our motto is “Scientia, Concordia, Sapientia,”
which means “Knowledge, Unity, and Wisdom”.
